Diamante Poems

In Room 4 we have been writing Diamante poems about different Nursery Rhyme characters. We have enjoyed using different types of words to create these.

Seesaw

Te Puna Quarry Park

What a great day we had at the Te Puna Quarry Park.

Te Puna Quarry Park

Last Tuesday Room 4 went to the Quarry Park on a trip.

First we went to the butterfly garden. We saw a butterfly.

Then we went to the dragon slide. At the dragon slide we saw Abbigale. She was playing. Next we saw Rebecca playing with Abbigale.

Finally we had lunch.

When we came back to school we were tired but happy because we had fun.

Last Tuesday Room 4 went to the Quarry Park on a trip.

First Sammie and I saw the water wheel. 

Then we saw the musical instruments and we made a lot of noise

Finally we got to have lunch and we also go to play it was fun. 

We went back to school. I was very happy but I was hungry.

Problem Solving - Colourful Jerseys

We have been learning to...

In a class there are 20 children. They are wearing jerseys of 3 different colours - blue, green and red. The class was lined up in a way that the pattern of jerseys was:
